Grand Portage Reservation is located on the north shore of Lake Superior, just minutes away from the canadian border. Along with its scenic landscapes, and wide range of foliage, Grand Portage has swimming beaches into Lake Superior. Water at several local beaches is tested once a week for bacteria (E-coli.)
